Why are you not located in Hawaii? 

Although Maui Tropical Soaps was born in Hawaii the previous owners were forced to move to the mainland in 2017 due to medical reasons. We still use the same tradition soap making process and ingredients that the company was founded on but our products are no longer created on the islands. 

When will my shipment go out? 

We strive to process and ship your order within 3 to 5 business days.

Why can't I find a product I use to buy on your website? 

MTS has now changed ownership for the 4th time and as each new owner took over they have changed the product line they offer. We are currently working towards offering many of not all of the pervious products MTS once offered. This process is a huge undertaking and will take time to invest in and bring to fruition.

Can you let me know when you have a certain product back in stock? 

The best way currently to find out about new/previous/back-in-stock products is to subscribe to our emails. Unlike alot of company's, we don't fill your inbox with unnecessary junk. We don't like receiving tons of marketing emails from our suppliers so we don't send out tons of them to our customers. Our emails are sent for the important things that our customers value: SALES EVENTS, PREVIOUS/NEW PRODUCTS & BACK-IN-STOCK ITEMS. Plus, you can always unsubscribe if you really don't want to hear from us at all. 

I'm going to Hawaii, where can I buy your products while I'm there? 

We are currently working on getting our products back into the shops in Hawaii. We will provide a list of places you can purchase MTS items when they are available. 

Why doesn't my favorite product smell like it use to? 

Most of our products are made with fragrance oils. Fragrance oils are regulated by the government and the standards for creating them changes frequently. When that happens, the perfume houses where they are created must change their recipe to confirm to the new standard. Sometimes, they can't get the scent to be exact but they get it pretty close. 

Do you use organic sustainable ethically resourced fair trade ingredients in your products? 

We do, as often as we can. 

My soap is now wrapped in plastic, is that environmentally friendly? 

Yes, we use Biolefin to wrap all of our soap bars. Biolefin ^TM is a 100% biodegradable (Oxo-biodegradable) plastic shrink wrap that quickly bio-degrades into food for bacteria and other microorganisms after entering the environment. It does not degrade into micro plastics!
